Frost Bake Shoppe offers tasty treats, readies for Valentine’s Day

THE WOODLANDS, Texas — Celebrate the sweet things in life. Frost Bake Shoppe Cupcakes & More, nestled in the Indian Springs Shopping Center, is sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. From cupcakes and custom cakes for parties and events, to sugar cookies and brownies, Frost has many varieties and flavors of gourmet treats all in one location. The original cupcake bakery to come to The Woodlands nearly five years ago, everything at Frost Bake Shoppe is made with only the freshest ingredients to ensure their customers get the best possible product.

“We bake from scratch. Everything pretty much has five to six ingredients in our products, and so we don’t have the preservatives. I think parents appreciate that when they come here with their kids,” said Terese Yates, the owner of Frost Bake Shoppe. “We also offer gluten free and vegan products. We have something for every allergy you might have, and we just try to offer the best quality ingredients.”

Every single day, the bakery rotates about 15 different flavors and varieties of cupcakes, cookies and brownies. Certain flavors of cupcakes are made at the bakery everyday, while others are made on certain days of the week. From the traditional cupcake flavors such as chocolate, red velvet and vanilla, to the more adventurous flavors like blueberry cheesecake, cookies & cream, and pumpkin, there is something for everyone at Frost Bake Shoppe. When asked what the most popular cupcake flavors were, Yates did not hesitate to answer.

“Red Velvet and Chocolate Dream are very popular,” said Yates. “Chocolate Dream is a chocolate ganache cupcake filled with marshmallow filling. It is very decadent.”

At Frost Bake Shoppe, customers can come in and enjoy a cupcake, take some treats to-go, make a special order, or order a personalized birthday cake. Frost can even make personalized cupcakes and cakes with corporate logos, themes, and edible images. With Valentine’s Day just a few weeks away, Frost Bake Shoppe will have valentine-themed treats available on February 14 and the weeks prior that are perfect for that special someone.

“Customers can order chocolate cookie cakes in a heart shape, Texas sheet cakes decorated like Valentine’s Day cakes, dessert cakes, cupcakes with valentine’s decorations on top, and even sugar cookies the shape of hearts and lips,” said Yates.

There will be a limited quantity of valentine-themed items in stock, however customers can also make special valentine orders ahead of time. Since it is a popular holiday for sweet treats such as cupcakes and cookies, Yates recommends that orders be placed one to two weeks ahead of time.
