THE WOODLANDS, Texas - The John Cooper School Middle School Choir is busy preparing for their opening of Aladdin, Jr. This Disney classic promises lots of action, magic, plot twists and energetic music.

Princess Jasmin (Brooke DeMarco) is about to have a marriage arranged for her. When she sneaks away to experience a “normal” life, she meets a street urchin, Aladdin (Christopher McDonald). When he is falsely imprisoned for allegedly stealing a loaf of bread, he finds an old lamp and accidentally summons the Genie of the Lamp (Zoe Tait). After a few magic wishes lands him in the Sultan’s (Mohib Jamil) palace as ‘Prince Ali’, Aladdin runs afoul of Jafar, the Grand Vizir (Matt Krehbiel). Aladdin cannot live the lie of ‘Prince Ali’ and confesses his true identity. His courage and true heart win the day and all ends well in the village of Agrabah!

The show opens on the Glenn Family Main Stage on Thursday, March 5 at 7 p.m. and the show closes with a final performance on Friday, March 6 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 and are available at the link provided below.
