THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Montgomery County Environmental Health Services reports on restaurant demerits from The Woodlands area inspections conducted between February 11-23.

Demerits:

Taco USA, 7 Switchbud Place, Suite 104—8 demerits

--Open drink cup on top shelf

--Raw fish stored over cooked chicken (moved)

Becks Prime, 2120 Buckthorne Place—4 demerits

--Dented can on shelf (removed)

Wal-Mart – Bakery, 1025 Sawdust Road—3 demerits

--No paper towels (replaced)

Which Wich Superior Sandwich, 6619 FM 1488—3 demerits

--Certified food manager not on site

Sundale Donuts, 6875 FM 1488—4 demerits

--Label flour and corn meal bins

Dosey Doe, Inc., 463 FM 1488, Suite A—7 demerits

--Personal items stored in dish storage area

--Whip cream stored in dirty cup

Church’s Chicken, 18602 FM 1488, Suite 100—16 demerits

--Flour containers not labeled

--Cold hold (cole slaw)

--Lack of hot water in women’s restroom

--Top rim of ice machine is moldy

--Ice machine not cleaned/sanitized

--Need paper towels at all hand sinks (replaced at time of inspection)

--Thermometers not accurate/properly calibrated (replaced at time of inspection)
