2015 season pool passes now available for purchase

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The Board of Directors of The Woodlands Township recently approved the 2015 Pool Schedule. Get your season passes early and avoid waiting in line at the pools in May.

In addition, the Township’s four spraygrounds, located at May Valley Park, Sawmill Park, Shadowbend Park, and Timarron Park, are free to use and are open to the public daily as of March 1, 2015, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Nine of the Township’s 14 community pools will be open beginning Saturday, May 9, for the pre-season from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and 1 to 6 p.m. on Sundays. The pre-season facilities for 2015 are: Alden Bridge, Bear Branch, Cranebrook, Falconwing, Harper’s Landing, Ridgewood, Sawmill, and Wendtwoods – along with the Rob Fleming Aquatic Center.

All 14 Township pools will be open on Memorial Day, Monday, May 24, and again for the regular season beginning Friday, June 5, which continues through August 23.

For young families, and those looking for a mid-week escape, the Bear Branch pool is also open on weekday afternoons (except Wednesdays) from noon to 6 p.m. beginning on May 18.

For new season pool passes, pictures must be taken at The Woodlands Recreation Center, located at 5310 Research Forest Drive within one week of purchasing a new pass. Hours of Operation are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
