CONROE, Texas - Chris Andritsos threw a complete game shutout in leading The Woodlands Highlanders to a 4-0 district opening win at Conroe Tuesday night.

Andritsos tossed seven innings and allowed just two hits from the 32 batters he faced, while striking out 10 and having no walks. Andritsos also batted leadoff for the Highlanders and officially was 0-for-0, as he was walked four times.

Andritsos’ performance was more than enough as the Highlanders scored three of their four runs off of Tiger errors or passed balls.

Jacob Godail got an RBI in the top of the fifth inning off of a sac-fly that scored Tommy Simutis.

The Woodlands will open up district play at home on Friday, March 20, at 7pm, against Atascocita.
