The Woodlands restaurant inspections: March 5-11

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Montgomery County Environmental Health Services reports on restaurant demerits from The Woodlands area inspections conducted between March 5-11.

Demerits:

Sakekawa Japanese Restaurant, 6777 Woodlands Parkway, Suite 200—7 demerits


Need scoop with handle for sugar and all dry ingredients

Sugar container in poor repair

Lucky Café, 27120 Glen Loch—6 demerits


Paper towel dispenser not working (fixed)

Store ice scoop in a sanitary container

The Black-Eyed Pea, 1330 Lake Woodlands Drive—7 demerits


Leaking faucet needs repair

Clean vent fan over grill area (cleaned at time of inspection)

House of Bread, 25227 Borough Park Drive—12 demerits


Dirty items in hand sinks

All opened bags of flour mixes, etc. need to be in food grade containers

Repair leaking faucets

Sundale Donuts, 0305 Sawdust Road—4 demerits


Opened bag of mix need to be in containers

Pretzel Time, 1201 Lake Woodlands—3 demerits


No soap or paper towels at back hand sink

Zoe’s Kitchen, 6700 Woodlands Parkway—3 demerits


White rubber spatula has broken areas and is not smooth and cleanable

Rico’s Grill, 6777 Woodlands Parkway, Suite 100—13 demerits


Beef fajita (raw) at 45° F (Ice placed on fajitas)
