“Champagne on the Rocks” event to benefit Autism Awareness

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Avante Laser & MediSpa, based in The Woodlands with locations there and in Houston, is hosting the “Champagne on the Rocks” event at its Woodlands location at 9191 Pinecroft on April 30 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The event, which is free and open to the public, is planned to be an evening of champagne cocktails provided by the Crescent Moon Wine Bar; jewelry by designer Kym Jackson, Founder of Unique Urban Rocks; and live musical entertainment. Jackson is also Mrs. Texas United America 2005, Mrs. Texas 2007, as well as Third Runner Up for Mrs. United America. She currently holds the title of United America Ambassador. She began designing jewelry to benefit Autism Awareness after her son was diagnosed as being on the Autism Spectrum.

Avante, which recently was voted the Best Health Spa & Wellness Center for the annual “Best of The Woodlands 2015” list hosted by Woodlands Online, will also provide complimentary “smoky-eye” demonstrations and hand peels.

The event, besides offering an evening of relaxation and entertainment, will also serve to increase autism awareness. Stacey Upchurch, co-owner of Avante, states that a percentage of every product and service sold at the event that evening will go to funding autism awareness.
