2015 Conroe ISD Job Fair a success

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - The 2015 Conroe ISD Job Fair took place this past Saturday, April 11, 2015 at The Woodlands College Park High School. The annual job fair is open to certified teachers, Alternative Certification Program candidates who have taken and passed the TEXES content area test(s), and current student teachers. Additionally, all participants completed the Conroe ISD online application.

Over 1,000 candidates attended the fair, which featured representatives from all 60 Conroe ISD campuses and several departments. In some cases, qualified candidates were interviewed on the spot. The District plans on hiring approximately 500 professional staff for the 2015-16 school year.

“Candidates attended from Texas and across the United States. Our principals returned to their campuses with stacks of resumes from highly qualified applicants and will begin filling positions for the 2015-2016 school year,” stated Dr. Kathy Sharples, Director of Human Resources.
