THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Market Street are bringing a celebration of Hispanic art, dance, music and food to Market Street’s Central Park on Thursday, May 7 from 6 - 9 p.m. with Fiesta Universal.

Hosted by The Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Market Street, Fiesta Universal is set for May 7.

Enjoy performances from ballet folklorico and Aztec dancers, Johnston Middle School (HISD) Mariachis, and popular Latin favorites from Yelba beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Artisan vendors will be demonstrating their craft and guests are invited to watch as they create boots, belts and more.

The Woodlands Children’s Museum will keep little ones entertained with carnival games and crafts. Food vendors also will be on-site throughout the evening.

The Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber will present scholarships to two graduates of the Adelante Academy; a 9-month curriculum for high school seniors consisting of speaker sessions, a service project, volunteer hours, and field trips. Adelante Academy students learn first-hand from community leaders in the public sector such as healthcare and education.

The event is free and open to the public. For more information on these and other Market Street events, visit www.marketstreet-thewoodlands.com.
