The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce to host community job fair on May 28

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce's Community Job Fair presented by the Kandor Group, Inc. will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Sam Houston State University The Woodlands Center located at 3380 College Park Drive.

The Chamber’s Job Fair goal is to provide potential employers and employees with viable employment opportunities in Montgomery County and the surrounding area. The upcoming Job Fair will give attendees a chance to meet with multiple employers in the same day and to explore career options that range from full-time employment to part-time and seasonal help through the holidays. For employers, the Job Fair offers an opportunity to reach high numbers of potential job seekers in the shortest amount of time.

“This event is open to the community and drew over 300 job seekers last year connecting them to over 40 employers looking to hire. We have a wide variety of employers participating this year who are looking to fill positions from Engineers to Healthcare related positions to Bus Drivers and Administrative opportunities. We are excited to have Kandor Group, Inc. as our Presenting Underwriter this year who brings added value to our Job Fair,” said Ashley Byers, Director of Special Events of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce. Kandor Group, Inc. provides human resources services to clients across multiple industries.

The funds raised from the Community Job Fair help benefit various programs that the Chamber hosts such as Economic Development, Mobility, Healthcare and Education that promote the growth of South Montgomery County, its residents and businesses.
