THE WOODLANDS, Texas - The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Search Team announces a national search for the open position for President and CEO. Reporting to The Chamber’s Board of Directors, the CEO will be responsible for the development and implementation of the organization’s priority projects, programs and member services, taking into consideration the Board of Directors’ short term goals and long term vision for the organization and the community. “It has been such fun and so rewarding to work with this community as it has grown from the 24,000 people when I arrived, to well over 100,000 today,” said current CEO, Karen Hoylman. Hoylman is retiring in August of this year after over 20 years of service to The Chamber. “I have enjoyed working with the business community and am proud of all we have accomplished. Our Chamber has grown tremendously as well, and today we have over 2,400 companies who participate with us. I am excited to turn our organization over to the next generation to continue to move us forward for the next 20 years.”

Minimum qualifications for this role include a bachelor’s degree with over 10 years business experience. The Executive Search Team is made up of the current Chamber Chairman, four past Chairman, and three current Board Members.
