Free “Law Line” offered on the first Monday of each month

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas - Have a legal question? The Woodlands Bar Association’s volunteer attorneys are on the line at 281-645-6344 for Law Line on the first Monday of every month from 5 to 8 p.m. to provide general legal information and information about legal resources to Montgomery County residents. (If the 1st Monday is a Federal holiday, then Law Line is offered on the 2nd Monday of that month).

This free public service is a project of The Woodlands Bar Association in conjunction with the Montgomery County United Way.

Callers’ identities as well as the identities of the volunteer lawyers will remain anonymous.

The volunteer attorneys do not provide specific counseling, yet offer general information and inform people about their rights and options and what legal resources may be available for callers to follow through with their concern.

Upcoming dates are July 6, August 3, and September 14.

The Woodlands Bar Association is comprised of private practice attorneys from both large and small law firms, judges and corporate attorneys and seeks to promote high legal standards, education and community service in the area. The Law Line offers a local community service opportunity for members to share their unique legal skills to provide service to others.
