THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The Woodlands Children’s Museum has received a $2,500 Junior League The Woodlands Community Assistance Grant that will help fund Motivation, Education and Training, or MET, Head Start field trips to the museum.

Community Assistance Grant will help provide field trips to the museum

“The Junior League of The Woodlands greatly values its long-standing partnership with The Woodlands Children’s Museum,” said Ashley Boudreaux, Junior League president. “Funding the MET Head Start field trips aligns with our own mission to help improve the lives of children and families in our community. Together, we can greatly impact the lives of many at-risk children in our area.”

“We are so pleased to have the tremendous support of the Junior League of The Woodlands,” said Angela Colton, executive director of the museum. “Through their generous gift, we will be able to ‘Educate, Empower and Excite’ many more children next year.”

The Junior League of The Woodlands and The Woodlands Children’s Museum have a long history of working together to provide children with early exposure to literacy and education. For more information about The Woodlands Children’s Museum, call 281-465-0955 or visit woodlandschildrensmuseum.org.
