THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Residents of The Woodlands are reminded that The Woodlands Covenants strictly prohibit the sale or use of fireworks of any kind, including sparklers, within the boundaries of The Woodlands Township.

Residents and visitors are invited to enjoy the professional and permitted Fireworks Extravaganza, hosted by The Woodlands Convention and Visitors Bureau and presented by BBVA Compass. The show will begin at dusk (approximately 9:15 p.m.), weather permitting, and will be simulcast on Sunny 99.1. There will be two different firing areas: a special effects show across from Town Green Park on The Woodlands Waterway and a very large aerial show over Lake Woodlands which will be fired from the east side of the lake near Lake Woodlands Drive. This show will have the distinction of being the first time The Woodlands has utilized the Lake Woodlands area for a Fourth of July fireworks display.

For more information, please call 281-210-3800 or visit www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/fourthofjuly. The Woodlands Fire Department may be reached at 281-367-3444.
