37th Annual Chairman’s Ball set for August 15

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce's 37th Annual Chairman’s Ball presented by Sam Houston State University will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015 from 6:00 pm to Midnight at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center.

“We consider it to be an honor for Sam Houston State University to be the Presenting Underwriter for The Woodlands Chamber Chairman’s Ball. The Woodlands area and its Chamber of Commerce are active and vibrant with an array of incredibly civic-minded leaders,” says Frank Holmes, Vice President for University Advancement with Sam Houston State University. “In addition to the area being home to nearly 20,000 Sam Houston alumni, we are thrilled with the success of SHSU-The Woodlands Center in meeting the needs for higher education programs and services in Montgomery and North Harris counties. We are proud to be associated with The Woodlands Chamber.”

“The purpose of the Chairman’s Ball is to honor our outgoing Chairman of the Board, Danny Schroder, for the endless hours he has committed to our Chamber over the last year and to welcome our incoming Chairman of the Board, JJ Hollie. This black tie optional formal event also pulls out all the stops to help showcase our Chamber members,” says Ashley Byers, Director of Special Events at The Woodlands Area Chamber. “Guests can expect an exceptional meal, top notch decorations and an exciting evening of dancing and live entertainment by the Madison Avenue Band.”

The theme this year is “Dannyopoly – Party on Park Place” inspired by the Monopoly board game. Reservations are $125 per person or $1,000 for table of ten. Sponsor and table top decorator opportunities are also available. The deadline to register is August 5, 2015.
