THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Donna Wick and the team at WICKed Publicity recently presented a check to Montgomery County Emergency Assistance (MCEA). The donation, in the amount of $1,000, constituted a portion of the proceeds raised at Wick’s recent annual lunchtime event, “National Girlfriends’ Day.”

“This luncheon has grown from a personal desire to keep in touch with my fellow businesswomen into a grand event where we all gather together for a worthy cause,” said Wick. “We know there is nothing more powerful than for women to band together to give back to those who need a little extra assistance, and this is why we wish to benefit MCEA this year.”

Montgomery County Emergency Assistance is a nonprofit organization that aids residents of Montgomery County who require temporary financial assistance to regain self-sufficiency and be financially independent. Chad Patterson, Executive Director of MCEA, and staff from the agency were presented the check by Wick at an intimate ceremony. “These funds are truly appreciated as we use them to help assist the thousands of families in the Montgomery County area with the help they need,” he said.
