THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Fall is officially here, and with that comes falling leaves, cooler weather, and aromas of pumpkin and spices. Bonefish Grill is tailoring their menu accordingly with a specific menu just for fall, and when Woodlands Online had the opportunity to taste this autumn-inspired menu, we didn't have to think twice.

Known as the “Fresh Fish Experts,” Bonefish Grill is located at 1555 Lake Woodlands Drive, and offers a variety of dining options for brunch, lunch and dinner. Along with their year-round menu, Bonefish now has selections inspired by the fresh flavors of fall, with unique pairings bound to please any seafood lover.

Although not a fall menu item, we had to start our meal off with the Bonefish Grill favorite, the Bang Bang Shrimp. Crispy shrimp tossed in a creamy, spicy sauce, it is no wonder this delicious appetizer is so popular.

For the main course, the fall menu offers fresh, wood-grilled fish and gives you several options to choose from. Depending on your fish of choice, the menu includes Rhea’s Grouper, a lean and moist fish topped with sautéed spinach, lump crab and lime tomato garlic sauce, as well as Scampi-Style Snapper & Shrimp: snapper grilled over oak, topped with pan roasted shrimp, grape tomatoes, and white wine scampi sauce served with jasmine rice and green beans. Talk about mouth-watering selections!

The two favorite dishes at Woodlands Online’s table was without a doubt the Swordfish & Pumpkin Ravioli, and the Wild-Caught Coho Salmon. The Swordfish & Pumpkin Ravioli was a huge hit, and the combination of the swordfish and pumpkin, although not a common one, complimented each other and made every bite sweet and savory. Topped with Feta, crispy onions and truffle butter with a side of green beans, this dish is a perfect choice for the fall. The Wild-Caught Coho Salmon is not to go unrecognized, however. The salmon is cooked to perfection and comes with the choice of one of Bone Fish Grill’s signature sauces, although Woodlands Online recommends the mango salsa for this one. For a few dollars extra, you can even add a spinach, bacon and blue cheese with lemon butter drizzle. Seasonal veggies come on the side with the salmon, which is currently spaghetti squash. No matter what you are to choose, your tastebuds will be pleased with these decadent, fall-inspired main courses. Pair your meal with a fruit cocktail such as the Fresh Pair and Fall Apple Martinis. The handcrafted drinks are packed full of nutrients and low in calories, with premium specialty vodkas and infusions.

Save room, though. Dessert should not be missed. Have a sweet ending to your meal at Bonefish Grill with a choice of two delicious fall treats: Jen’s Jamaican Coconut Pie, baked in creamy custard with a rum sauce and fresh whipped cream, and the Pumpkin Crème Brûlée, complete with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg, topped off with whipped cream. When our waitress brought the dessert to our table, she gave us a fair warning that it would go quick — and she was right. If you are a fan of pumpkin, the classic Crème Brûlée with a fall twist is definitely the dessert of choice.

Bonefish Grill, a delicious dining choice year-round, hit a home run when it comes to their seasonal menu for the fall. Infusing familiar, autumn flavors with their wood-grilled fish, this is a delectable dining experience your tastebuds won’t want to miss.
