THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Looking for a great, safe place to take your little ghouls, goblins, princesses and fairies this Halloween?

The Woodlands Children’s Museum hosts the ultimate, not scary Halloween party on Saturday, Oct. 31

The Woodlands Children’s Museum is preparing the ultimate party – without anything scary.

The museum will be closed until 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31, to prepare for the popular event, then staff will unveil the many child-friendly games, art projects and activities awaiting guests. In addition to live music by Andy Rooniverse, there will be many Halloween-inspired games including Donut Dodging, Creepy Crawling Bugs, Bone Dig, Haunted House Gross-Out, Monster Mouth Photo Booth, Slimy Science, Pin the Bowtie on the Skeleton, Monster Bowling, Mummy Wrap and Haunted House Bean Bag Toss.

Woodlands Kiwanis will be on hand selling pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs and drinks.

Angela Colton, executive director of The Woodlands Children’s Museum, said the museum staff looks forward to hosting the SpookTacular each year.

“We go all out for Halloween,” she said. “It’s a holiday that presents some of the best opportunities to engage children in creative play – it’s all about costumes, acting, storytelling and art. And, of course, it’s so much safer than trying to navigate the streets at dusk.”

Costumes are encouraged. Admission to the Original Halloween SpookTacular Monster Mash Party for children is $7 for members and $9 for nonmembers. Adult admission is $1. Presale tickets are available.

Recommended for ages 7 years and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Located at 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280, in The Woodlands, 77381, the museum has a full calendar of exciting activities. Daily Admission is $5 per person 2 years and older. Admission is free for children under 2 and museum members. To learn more, visit woodlandschildrensmuseum.org or call 281-465-0955.
