THE WOODLANDS, Texas - The growth of The Woodlands community has expanded tremendously over the years due to many factors including phenomenal schools, both public and private, as well as world class shopping, hotels and a wide variety of dining options. The master-planned community has a lot to offer, and for those interested in residing in The Woodlands or surrounding areas, finding a quality realty group specializing in residential real estate while also putting the clients’ needs first is of the utmost importance. For one local realty group, buying and selling homes is just a piece of the puzzle, whereas community involvement and giving back is just as important.

Since 2011, EXIT Lone Star Realty-Creekside has been serving The Woodlands and surrounding areas so that clients, whether buying or selling, have a memorable and positive real estate experience. Susan Mack, the owner and broker of EXIT Lone Star Realty, began her real estate career with EXIT Realty Group nine years ago and fell in love with the company right away.

“I love everything about EXIT—the philosophy of the company, the family feel of this company—so I called corporate and asked them if they would consider selling a franchise to me. I had to find a new territory and start my own brokerage, and that was four years ago in July,” explained Mack.

Mack specializes in residential real estate sales and luxury homes, with a distinguished resume to boot. She was the 2014 WCR Montgomery County Entrepreneur of the Year, and is also a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the Houston Association of Realtors (HAR), and the Women Council of Realtors (WCR).

Mack and her team of realtors put their clients’ needs before anything else, ensuring that they have a smooth and positive experience, whether buying or selling their home. They know the market and take pride in the privilege of serving others. After all, that is EXIT’s mission—to serve their clients as best as they can, knowing that real estate transactions are a huge financial commitment.

“Everybody follows the same rules that the Texas Real Estate Commission sets out, but what sets you apart is how you communicate with your clients and the tools and technology that you have to market that property. It’s not about the market, it is about the marketing, and that’s what makes the difference. EXIT has all the tools and technology for me and all of my agents to be the best,” said Mack.

EXIT Lone Star Realty-Creekside services The Woodlands and surrounding communities including Magnolia, Conroe, Montgomery, Tomball, Willis, and many more.

“People are drawn to master-planned communities,” said Mack. “When buying and selling, I think that is the advantage that we have, is that The Woodlands is a master-planned community. Even if you don't settle in The Woodlands, you are close enough that we have everything but the airport. It is just a dynamic area, but statistics show that people do feel a safeness when they buy in or near a master-planned community.”

Also adding to the attractiveness of The Woodlands is the distinguished schools in and around the community, both public and private. Conroe Independent School District and Tomball Independent School District both serve The Woodlands area and are both highly reputable ISDs.

Aside from ensuring that each and every client is treated with the utmost respect while working with EXIT, Mack is also a firm believer in giving back to the community she works in. From school fundraisers to non-profit organizations, Mack and EXIT Lone Star Realty-Creekside understand the importance of giving back. An organization EXIT Lone Star Realty has worked with for the past couple of years is Breast Cancer Charities of America. A non-profit based in The Woodlands, BCCA is working to win the fight against breast cancer. The organization’s services and programs include university education, research funding for non-traditional cancer treatment and prevention options, medical missions, and “Feeling Beautiful Again,” a program that provides gift bags to breast cancer patients to help improve their self-esteem and body image. In October, EXIT Lone Star Realty was the presenting sponsor for Breast Cancer Charities of America’s annual Wine Women & Shoes event.

“On a personal level, I made a choice to support Breast Cancer Charities of America," said Mack. "I have a sister-in-law that has breast cancer, and my niece at 21 was diagnosed with breast cancer. By the time her 22nd birthday rolled around, she had had a double mastectomy and gone through chemo. She is now 30 and a nine-year cancer survivor, so when I found out about this organization that is based here in The Woodlands, it just touched my heart so I’ve been a major contributor.”

EXIT Lone Star Realty-Creekside not only helps clients when it comes to buying or selling a home, but Mack and her staff also care about the local community and give back in anyway they can. They are more than a business, but rather, a family.

“I think EXIT’s kind of a big deal,” said Mack. “On a personal level, I think I make a good impact on my realtors, but I think as a whole we make a good impact on the community. That’s important more than anything, is what you can give back because it will come back to you.”
