Carlton, Hofferkamp and Jenks Wealth Management joins global #GivingTuesday movement

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Carlton, Hofferkamp and Jenks Wealth Management located in The Woodlands has joined #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. CHJ Wealth Management will participate by having a #GivingTuesday Holiday Open House at their office from 3:00 pm – 6:30pm on Dec 1st.

After Black Friday and Cyber Monday, comes #GivingTuesday. Occurring this year on December 1st, #GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday to kick-off the holiday giving season and inspire people to collaborate in improving their local communities and to give back in impactful ways to the charities and causes they support.

For years CHJ donated and delivered nonperishables and toys to local food banks and toy drives. This year, CHJ will continue with this annual tradition, in addition to the #GivingTuesday Holiday Open House. All friends joining the open house can bring a nonperishable food item, toy or gift card for donations. CHJ will collect all donated items and deliver to local charities.
