Businesses encouraged to register for Economic Outlook Conference sponsorships

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce’s 30th annual Economic Outlook Conference is swiftly approaching, and already opportunities for this venerable event are being snapped up by local businesses at a steady clip. What is now the largest business conference in the area, seasoned participants have seen the conference explode from 450 attendees in 2012 to over 800 at the last event.

The 30th annual Economic Outlook Conference is set for Friday, February 26


Grounded in Our Roots – Branching to the Future is the 2016 theme, intended to highlight key economic trends that will shape our community, the nation, and the globe. Presented by The Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership (EDP), the event is slated for Friday, February 26 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center.

Returning this year is Cypressbrook Company, sponsoring both the keynote speaker and exclusive sponsor VIP reception. Cypressbrook has been operating in the Woodlands for over 18 years and has sponsored several chamber events over that time.

The conference will include experts from numerous fields to bring awareness to the economic and developmental needs of The Woodlands and its surrounding areas. Greg Brenneman, chairman, president & CEO of CCMP Capital (nationally known as “The Turn-Around King”), has confirmed as the keynote.

CCMP Capital is a global private equity firm specializing in buyout and growth equity investments in North America and Europe in four targeted industries. Mr. Brenneman plays an active leadership role in executing the Firm’s overall strategy while remaining engaged in completing transactions, developing strategies and coaching the senior management of CCMP’s portfolio companies.

The planning committee will soon announce a full sponsor line-up.

Sponsorship opportunities begin at $1,000 and offer a variety of benefits such as an exhibitor table or option to include promotional materials in attendee’s bags. The funds raised from the conference help benefit various programs that The Chamber hosts, such as healthcare, mobility, and economic development that promote the growth of South Montgomery County, its residents and businesses.

Formed in 1978, The Chamber represents over 2,000 member companies and is frequently ranked as the #2 chamber in the Houston region in Houston Business Journal’s Book of Lists.
