THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Nestled within the campus of StoneBridge Church, the StoneBridge Food Pantry has served The Woodlands and surrounding areas for years through compassionate volunteerism. Located at 1 Stonebridge Drive, the pantry collects non-perishable food items and cash donations for families and individuals in Montgomery County that are struggling with poverty.

Residents of The Woodlands and surrounding areas are encouraged to volunteer at the pantry and/or donate food items to benefit those in need this holiday season. Potential volunteers are welcome to visit at their convenience during regular hours. Volunteers have many opportunities to help, and there are several time slots to choose from to meet any busy schedule, and training is provided. Non-perishable food items can be dropped off on a weekly basis, every Tuesday and Thursday between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. There is an on-going need for proteins, vegetables, condiments, fruits, snacks, drinks, toiletries, diapers, and related daily necessities. Standard size canned goods are best at 14 - 29 ounces, and please note that expired food will not be accepted. Click here for a list of StoneBridge Food Pantry needs.

Unfortunately, many families are unable to afford a traditional Christmas meal or provide gifts for their children. Here is your opportunity to give back by donating $50 to the StoneBridge Food Pantry as a part of their Christmas Angel Project. Experience the joy of giving Christmas to families in need. There are more than 215 kids to provide gifts for this year. If you would like to give online, please click here to donate. If you would like to volunteer to pass out the Christmas gifts and dinner, please contact the pantry at tiffany.ray@sbridge.org.

The StoneBridge Food Pantry will be participating in the 2015 Woodlands Online Giving Tree Farm, December 1 - 21. Community members will get a chance to visit the Woodlands Online office, choose an ornament requesting a needed item, and drop off for donation.

Those interested in volunteering at the StoneBridge Food Pantry or for more information, please visit their website or send an e-mail to SBPantry@att.net.
