Kerrie Guerrero named VP and CNO of Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital

HOUSTON, Texas – Kerrie Guerrero, vice president of operations at Houston Methodist Hospital, has been selected as vice president and chief nursing officer for Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital.

Guerrero will start her new job on July 1.

“I am extremely excited about the opportunity to serve as the CNO at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital,” Guerrero said. “I look forward to being on the team that brings Houston Methodist values, high-quality care and high patient satisfaction to The Woodlands community.”

Guerrero has worked within Houston Methodist for more than 11 years and has served in various leadership roles in many different clinical areas, including PACU, cardiology, IMU, pre-admit testing, AOD, outpatient lab and orthopedics, acute care, VIP/international unit and the Emergency Department.

Kerrie earned her B.S.N. from Texas Woman’s University and her M.S.N./M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix. She recently graduated with her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Executive Leadership from the University of Texas Health Science Center. She is married and has three children.

Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital will open in 2017.
