Montgomery County Sheriff's blotter: February 1-7

THE WOODLANDS, Texas — The following incidents were reported by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office between February 1-7.

District 2 – Lt. Jim Fleming (South County)

On February 1, Deputy C. Cooke was sent to the 500 block of Sawdust Road, in reference to a disturbance involving an intoxicated male who was trying to fight employees. The 36 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 2:42am and transported to jail.

On February 2, Deputies S. Lee and W. Sharman stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 24900 block of Interstate 45 North. During the investigation, the 35 year old female driver, from Houston, was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and was arrested at 12:58am and taken to jail.

On February 3, Deputy J. Allen responded to a welfare concern in the 100 block of Valleywood Road. During the investigation, the Deputy learned there were two runaways in one of the rooms. Along with the juveniles, a 20 year old female from Spring and a 17 year old male from Laredo were detained. The 20 year old female was arrested at 1:45am for harboring a runaway child. The 17 year old male was arrested and charged with failure to identify. Both subjects were taken to jail. The two runaways, from San Antonio, were transported to juvenile detention.

On February 3, Deputies S. Lee and W. Sharman stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 1500 block of Rayford Road. During the investigation, 43 grams of methamphetamine crystal and 3 grams of heroin were located in the vehicle. The 25 year old female driver, from Houston, was arrested at 2:46am, charged with possession of a controlled substance and manufacture, delivery of controlled substance. The 25 year old male, from Spring, was arrested and charged with manufacture, delivery of controlled substance. Both subjects were taken to jail.

A 34 year old male from Spring was arrested at 3:55pm, February 4, and taken to jail from a location on Hickory Hollow Lane, by Deputy K. Christensen, for a failure to appear warrant.

On February 4, Deputy P. Lopez-Carpenter was sent to an assault call in the 25600 block of Interstate 45 North. The Deputy met with a male complainant who advised his wife had slapped him in the face and struck him with a clay statue on the head causing injury. The 45 year old female from Houston was arrested at 10:01pm and transported to jail.

On February 5, Deputy C. Cooke was notified of a disturbance call involving an intoxicated male in the 16800 block of Canary Street. The 34 year old male from Conroe had left the scene; however, he was located and arrested for public intoxication at 3:31am and transported to jail.

On February 5, Deputy C. Rose responded to the 1000 block of Sawdust Road, in reference to a criminal trespass. The Deputy met with loss prevention who had a female detained. The 44 year old female from The Woodlands was arrested at 5:30pm and taken to jail.

On February 6, Deputy R. McClintock was sent to a disturbance in progress in the 31500 block of Ember Trail Lane. As the Deputy approached, a male left the scene in a vehicle and was identified as one of the actors in the disturbance. The Deputy stopped the vehicle and found the male driver to be intoxicated. The 24 year old male from Houston was arrested at 12:15am, charged with driving while intoxicated and taken to jail. Deputy J. Allen was assisting with the call and an intoxicated male walked up to the scene of the traffic stop and was detained. The 42 year old male from Spring was arrested for public intoxication and also taken to jail.

A 35 year old male from Spring was arrested at 2:00am, February 7, and taken to jail from a location on Sawdust Road, by Deputy R. McClintock, for a criminal non-support warrant.

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)

On February 2, Deputy Abdelbaky conducted a traffic stop at Falconwing Dr. and Woodlands Parkway on a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The driver of the vehicle, a 30 year old male, was taken into custody after a check of his license showed he had two outstanding warrants for his arrest. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On February 2, Deputy Stone and Deputy Flynn were dispatched to 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive in reference to a Robbery. The 20 year old female suspect began fighting with Loss Prevention when they tried to detain the 22 year old suspect and the other two left the scene. When deputies were escorting the two suspects to their patrol cars the other two suspects, a 26 year old and 28 year old females, came up asking why the others were being detained. All four were placed into custody. Deputy Stone contacted the District Attorney’s Office and charges for Organized Retail Crime were accepted for three of the suspects and Robbery for the 20 year old suspect due to her assaulting the Loss Prevention officers. All of the suspects were transported to the Montgomery County Jail without further incident.

On February 3, Deputy Vasquez conducted a Welfare Check on a person found slumped over in the backseat of a vehicle at 1600 Lake Robbins. Upon making contact with the suspect, a 21 year old male, Deputy Vasquez observed a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the suspect. During the course of the investigation, the suspect was found to have a container with a green leafy substance, identified as marijuana. The suspect was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana and was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On February 5, Deputy Runnels was dispatched to 3040 College Park Drive in reference to a theft. The suspects, a 27 year old male and a 30 year old female attempted to take $497.48 worth of video games from Walmart. Both suspects were charged with Theft and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On February 6, Deputy Runnels was dispatched to 3040 College Park Drive in reference to a Theft. The suspect, a 42 year old female, attempted to take a Dyson vacuum valued at $452.61 from Walmart. The suspect was taken into custody for Theft and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On February 7, Deputy Vasquez and Deputy Lackey responded to a suspicious person call at 1100 Lake Woodlands Drive. Upon making contact with the suspect, a 25 year old male, they found he had nine outstanding warrants. When taken into custody the suspect was found to have a baggie with a green leafy substance, identified as marijuana, and 7 pills, identified as Alprazolam on his person. The suspect was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
