THE WOODLANDS - The South Montgomery County Family YMCA is excited to announce the lineup for the 4th Annual YMCA Dancing with The Woodlands Stars. Presented by Mercedes-Benz of The Woodlands, this unique charity event is scheduled for 6 pm on April 7 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott and features local leaders as the live dance entertainment.

Each year, volunteers take the dance floor to compete for votes and raise funds for the South Montgomery County Family YMCA. Every dollar raised from the purchase of tables, seats and votes goes to the YMCA Annual Campaign, which makes community-strengthening Y programs like swim lessons, after school care and youth sports available to everyone regardless of age, income or background.

The stars who will dance to raise funds for the YMCA Annual Campaign are:

Barry Blanton: Blanton Advisors

Blair Adkins: Catering Coordinator Chick-fil-A

Dr. Diego Marines: Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital

Fiona Lowey: CHI St. Luke’s Health—The Woodlands Hospital

Jaclyn Schlembach: Mercedes-Benz of The Woodlands

JJ Hollie: President and CEO of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce

Lori Loney: South Montgomery County Family YMCA

Matthew Whitehead: Woodlands Online

Michael White: Senior Vice President, Woodforest National Bank

Montrice Wilson: Area Community Coordinator, HEB

Rick Lovett: Afternoon Show Host of Sunny 99.1

Sandy Petermann-Williams: RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring

Affinity Ballroom Studio of The Woodlands has partnered with the Y to provide the dance partners, lessons and choreography for the community stars. Dana Tyson of Sunny 99.1 will emcee for the evening, which will include a live auction, dinner and the opportunity to dance with stars when the dance floor opens.

“Tables are selling fast,” said Roxanne Davis, YMCA Community Liaison/Event Director. “This event has been the talk of the town. Guests are eager to witness a friend, colleague or family member step out of their comfort zone and onto the dance floor for such a worthy cause.”
