Every single girl on the team contributed. I am hoping we keep this momentum going for the rest of the season.

Girls’ Softball:

March 4 at Saint Mary’s Hall* Cooper 19 • Saint Mary’s Hall* 0 win (FIRST CONFERENCE GAME)

Comments from Coach Nicole Hedden: The girls did a great job against St. Mary's Hall. We had 10 hits, 11 RBIs–it hard to lose when your bats are on fire and your defense is solid. Every single girl on the team contributed. I am hoping we keep this momentum going for the rest of the season.

Cooper 11 • Cistercian Prep School 3 win WP: Jaeden Camstra Hitting highlights: Cross Austin 4 for 5 with a triple, two doubles and 4 RBI Bobby Finnie 2 for 4 with a double and one RBI Emerson Raybon 2 for 3 with a walk and one RBI Braden Sebesta 2 for 2 with a double and two walks Cooper had 16 hits as a team in game two on Saturday.

Comments from Coach Scott Holland: More solid performances. We are scoring points in all areas of meets; jumps, throws, sprints as well as distance. Our upperclassmen are providing great leadership and our younger athletes keeps working and improving. We have seven weeks to SPC, there is still much to be done but the kids have proven they are ready to train to see more improvement. Fifteen PRs were set this week and at least six school records are within reach.

Comments from Coach Rod Gold: It was awesome to watch Ben play the back nine. He was hitting his lines with his driver, he hit his irons with great precision and putted beautifully. It is very rare to witness someone shoot 29 on nine holes. Very impressive.
