Timber Lakes Volunteer Fire Dept Public Forum rescheduled to April 21

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - As expected, the Timber Lakes Volunteer Fire Department has rescheduled their Community Public Forum this evening, due to the intense rescue effort going on in the Timber Lakes/Timber Ridge subdivisions since early this morning.

A rescheduled date has been set for Thursday, April 21, at the same location and time....the Timber Lakes Fire Station located at 3434 Royal Oaks at 7:00 p.m.

The Public Forum is to share information about the proposed 1% sales tax election on May 7th, for the purpose of upgrading equipment and facilities for Emergency Services District 14. The tax will not impact residents in the district significantly due to the small number of retail businesses existing within the district boundaries.

The Timber Lakes Volunteer Fire Department falls under the jurisdiction of Emergency Service District 14. Montgomery County ESD 14 Commissioners will be present to provide information and answer questions. Residents are encouraged to attend.
