THE WOODLANDS, Texas — Master-planned Woodforest is adding long-time Houston company Westin Homes to its array of community homebuilders.

Westin Homes has acquired 22 homesites in the Woodforest neighborhood of Deerbourne Ridge, where it will offer plans designed for 60-foot homesites. Westin, who joins Perry Homes in the neighborhood, plans to open a model home there later this year. Westin Homes’ pricing in Deerbourne Ridge has not yet been determined.

Westin Homes entered Houston’s residential market in 1994, with a focus on customer satisfaction, architectural design and attention to detail. All of Westin’s homes are built to the stringent guidelines of the Environments for Living Platinum level, which provides an 18 percent greater energy savings than those set forth in the International Energy Conservation Code.

“The high standards of Westin Homes are a perfect match to the complement of quality builders now in Woodforest,” said Virgil Yoakum, the community’s general manager. “We are excited to add Westin’s innovative home designs to the many choices our prospective buyers enjoy.”

Currently, 12 builders offer a broad collection of home designs in Woodforest, including townhomes, patio homes, executive homes and those created for buyers age 55 and older. Pricing is from the $190,000s. In addition, seven builders offer custom homes priced into the millions.

Woodforest is ranked among the nation’s 20 top-selling developments. It is located approximately seven miles west of Interstate 45 and five miles north of The Woodlands. For more details on the development, visit www.woodforesttx.com.
