Vic’s Liquor, Kirby’s Steakhouse partner for whiskey tasting

THE WOODLANDS, Texas — Vic’s Liquor is excited to partner with Kirby’s Steakhouse in The Woodlands for a whiskey and cigar tasting event called ‘Whiskey Business.’ This is a ‘can’t-miss’ evening for any local whiskey-lover who wants to broaden their taste buds and try a few rare and hard-to-find spirits. Both businesses are excited about the team-up and will provide a relaxing and casual tasting experience.

“We are eager to be partnering with one of the area’s very best restaurants to provide a treat to our fine clientele,” states Victor Paige, owner of Vic’s Liquor Store. “This event will also help get the word out about our ability to source exceptional and uncommon spirits.”

Three special connoisseur quality whiskeys will be featured from Vic's Liquor’s local inventory, Westland Sherry Wood American Whiskey, Michter’s Bourbon Small Batch Whiskey, and Glenfarclas’ Highland Single Malt Scotch Whiskey, aged 12 years. Cigars will be available in the lounge, as well as an assortment of perfectly paired appetizers prepared by Kirby’s Executive

“It's a special opportunity to taste three superb whiskeys that Kirby's Steakhouse does not currently stock,” say Scott Griffin, Assistant General Manager and Sommelier at Kirby’s Steakhouse. “These are extraordinary whiskeys. Only the most knowledgeable whiskey-lovers have heard of Michter's Rye, Westland Sherry Wood, and single malt Glenfarclas.”

Kirby’s Steakhouse holds Scotch Tastings on the second Tuesday of every month. This was the perfect opportunity for Vic’s Liquor to showcase a few of the high-end spirits for which they are known. Kirby’s Steakhouse was more than happy to let Vic’s Liquor host an event on the regularly scheduled May experience while cultivating a working relationship and a long-tem Kirby’s Steakhouse also hosts Wine Tastings on every third Saturday of the month.
