Montgomery County Sheriff's blotter: April 13-24

THE WOODLANDS, Texas — The following incidents were reported by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office between April 13 - 24.

District 2 – Lt. Jim Fleming (South County)

On April 13, a female complainant filed a criminal mischief case against another female for damaging the complainant’s car. Two days later, the female suspect made retaliatory threats against the complainant. The 17 year old female from Spring was arrested at 1:20pm, April 19, charged with retaliation, and transported to jail.

On April 19, Deputy P. Lopez-Carpenter was sent to the 24700 block of Interstate 45 North, in reference to a welfare concern involving an intoxicated male. The male was located and detained. The 50 year old male from Houston was arrested at 11:41pm and taken to jail.

On April 20, Deputy J. Solomon was notified of an assault call in the 9200 block of Narcille Street. The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised she and her common-law husband had gotten into an argument and he physically struck her above the eye causing a laceration. The 25 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 11:33pm and taken to jail.

A 25 year old female from Trinity was arrested at 10:05pm, April 21, and taken to jail from a location on Llano River Loop, by Deputy R. McClintock, for a probation violation warrant out of Lee County.

On April 21, Deputy W. Sharman stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 25200 block of Brookhaven. During the investigation, the female driver was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. The 37 year old female from Spring was arrested at 10:25pm and transported to jail.

An 18 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 11:50pm, April 21, and taken to jail from a location on Great Oaks Drive, by Deputy J. Logan, for a criminal mischief warrant.

On April 23, Deputy Z. Vercher observed a male running, yelling and jumping in and out of traffic on Budde Road. The Deputy caught up to the male and was speaking with him when the male fled. The Deputy detained the male a short distance away. The 25 year old male from The Woodlands was arrested at 12:20am, charged with public intoxication, and taken to jail.

On April 24, Deputy R. Leverston responded to the 25500 block of Interstate 45 North, in reference to an intoxicated male who was refusing to leave the establishment. The 37 year old male from Spring was arrested at 1:20am, charged with public intoxication, and transported to jail.

On April 24, Deputy P. Lopez-Carpenter was sent to the 25500 block of Interstate 45 North, in reference to an intoxicated male sitting on a curb and acting very belligerent. The 30 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 2:34am, charged with public intoxication, and taken to jail.

On April 24, Deputy R. Leverston was notified of a disturbance call in the 2100 block of Riley Fuzzel Road, involving a male attempting to enter an R/V occupied by his ex-girlfriend. As the Deputy arrived, the male had broken through the roof and gained entry. The 20 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 11:49pm, charged with burglary of a habitation, and taken to jail.

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)

On April 19, Deputy Pierce responded to 3040 College Park Drive, in reference to a theft call. The suspect, an 18 year old female and employee of Walmart, was observed taking money from the cash register and placing it in her pocket. The suspect was found to have taken approximately $1000 over a period of time. The suspect was taken into custody for theft and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On April 20, Deputy Jackson was dispatched to the 25900 block of Interstate 45 North, to assist Detective Godden with a suspicious person. The suspect, a 27 year old male, appeared to be under the influence of some substance. During the contact, the suspect produced a knife and displayed it in a threatening manner. The suspect was detained with the assistance of Deputy Stone, who had also arrived on scene. The District Attorney’s Office was contacted and charges were accepted for aggravated assault. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On April 21, multiple deputies responded to an alarm call at 1470 Lake Woodlands (Exxon Mobile Station). Units arrived on scene and observed the store to have severe damage from a vehicle that had been driven through the store. Deputy Vasquez observed two vehicles coming from the fuel station and driving towards Grogan’s Mill. She immediately began following the vehicles and observed both vehicles run the red light at Grogan’s Mill and Lake Woodlands. Deputy Vasquez initiated a traffic stop on one of the vehicles. After reviewing the store video, it was found that all 3 males in the vehicle were involved. Two other males, in the other vehicle, were located by Oak Ridge Police Department and returned to the scene. The suspects, ages 18, 19, 19, 20 and 25 were taken into custody for burglary of a building and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On April 23, Deputy Brown was dispatched to 1201 Lake Woodlands, in reference to a shoplifter in custody call. The suspects, a 17 year old female and a 16 year old female attempted to take $166.00 and $91.00 worth of merchandise from the JC Penney’s. The 16 year old was issued a citation for theft and released at the scene. The 17 year old was taken into custody for theft and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On April 24, Deputy Brown was patrolling the area of 1120 Lake Woodlands, when she was flagged down by a citizen that had his bicycle stolen while shopping. A witness reported the suspect description and the suspect was located a short time later by Deputy Pearson on Grogan’s Mill Road. The complainant identified his property and it was released back to him. The suspect, a 20 year old male, was taken into custody for theft and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On April 24, Deputy McDonald conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling in excess of 70 miles per hour on Woodlands Parkway. The suspect, a 30 year old male, was found to have two outstanding warrants and was taken into custody. During a search of the suspect, he was found to have cocaine and eight Ecstasy pills in his possession. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, in addition to his two warrants, and booked into the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
