THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- THE JOHN COOPER SCHOOL
Spring SPC Results
Inclement weather in Dallas/Fort Worth played a big part in SPC play. Many of the consolation games were canceled.

GIRLS’ SOFTBALL: sixth place
Opening round: Cooper 13 • All Saints 8 win
Quarterfinal: Cooper 0 • St. John’s 4 loss
St. John’s went on to become the SPC Champion.
For 5th place: Cooper 9 • Trinity Valley 10 loss
Dragons lost despite a massive comeback in the 7th inning scoring seven runs with two outs.
From Coach Nicole Hedden: Our team fought this weekend. We successfully executed our pitching, hitting and defense. We made errors but they did not affect our confidence. The girls did not go down without a fight.
Our season is over and we are sad that we are losing five very special seniors, three of which have been in our softball program for at least seven years. These five seniors have made their mark and set a standard for The John Cooper School softball program. Thank you, Seniors!

BOYS’ BASEBALL: one game, consolation games were rained out
Opening round: Cooper 1 • Fort Worth Country Day 5 loss
LP: Braden Sebesta
Hitting highlights:
Cross Austin went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk.

They were an absolute pleasure to coach. The seniors: Cade Austin, Cross Austin, John Finnerty and Henry McNeill will be missed. We wish them well."
