The Republic Grille announces its second location on FM 2978

THE WOODLANDS, TX (May 2, 2016) – Fans of The Republic Grille in The Woodlands will soon have two exciting locations to choose from when dining out. The popular restaurant will open a second location at the corner of Woodlands Parkway and FM 2978 in The Woodlands at the end of May.

The launch of a second location in the West Woodlands area came about due to customer demand. Terry McBurney, founder and managing partner of The Republic Grille, said, “With such expansive growth of The Woodlands west of Kuykendahl and Magnolia along FM 1488, the need for higher-end dining options in this area was quite obvious. It was a matter of finding the right location to fit our neighborhood feel.” Since opening in 2014, The Republic Grille has long been the go-to place for fine but relaxing dining in The Woodlands. “Our second location will accommodate guests from the west side of the Woodlands, as well as guests that visit us from Conroe, Magnolia, Montgomery, Tomball and Spring,” McBurney said.

“The new location expands on limitations we have at the original location with a more efficient kitchen and a bit more elbow room in the dining area,” McBurney said. “While seating capacity remains the same, we expanded the bar area to accommodate more clientele, but it still has that cozy atmosphere that makes you feel at home.”

The new location features a patio for outdoor dining and will boast the same great menu that has made the original Republic Grille famous. “You will still find all your favorites here,” McBurney said, “including our award-winning chicken fried steak.” Other popular dishes include Carolina Style Shrimp and Grits, Blackened Flounder and Chicken Marsala. The Republic Grille takes pride in serving the best flavors of Texas and traditional Southern dishes.
