THE WOODLANDS, Texas — BioMetrix, a health and wellness center set to open in The Woodlands in July, is hosting a free seminar at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center Thursday, May 5 at 7:00 p.m.

CEO Alexander Catucci said the seminar will focus on hormone replacement therapy, nutrition, exercise, supplementation, cardiovascular disease and anti-aging.

“Everything that we’re doing in this conference is going to teach you to take care of yourself,” Catucci said. “If you decide to come to BioMetrix to get it done, great. If you don’t, at least we’ve educated you to know you can get it somewhere else, but no one else does what we do.”

A visit at BioMetrix begins with an evaluation with full, comprehensive blood work, a functional fitness screening test, a one arm strength evaluation test with one repetition max and a screening that shows adipose and deep adipose tissues and the thickness of muscles and bones. The patient will then meet with a doctor for a nutritional consultation. From there, a plan is formulated for the patient to move forward with their health goals.

“BioMetrix is a health and wellness clinic devoted to hormone replacement therapy, exercise, nutrition and supplementation—basically what we’re all made out of,” Catucci said. “When you add other therapies to those four basic ideas, and then you take personal training in a functional gym that emphasizes the way to correctly work out and then you put supplementation on top of that, you have your own recipe to get very healthy very quickly.”

Taking a holistic approach to human wellness is top priority at BioMetrix. From doctors and pharmaceuticals to personal trainers and a gym, the center provides patients the access to everything they need for their health in one facility. They work with men and women of all ages to manage and prevent common ailments such as cardiovascular disease and diabetes, and they provide educational material to help people understand their own hormones, organ function and how these relate to their everyday health.

“Your health is not something to be taken for granted,” Catucci said. “You should be thinking, how can I do better as I go along, and when you get in your 30s, it really needs to be important. Most people don’t care until they get in their 50s, and then, unfortunately, that’s when a guy gets his first heart attack. It’s a vicious cycle, and that’s what we’re trying to prevent.”

BioMetrix is set to open its location at 8845 Six Pines Dr. in The Woodlands July 11. To reserve a seat at the seminar, call 844-800-4450, or visit their website at biometrixlife.com.
