Interfaith names Lucy Gomez as new Director of Programs and Services

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Interfaith of The Woodlands is pleased to announce Lucy Gomez as the new Director of Programs and Services.

Lucy brings more than 10 years of experience to the executive-level position. She will lead staff in program operations and guidelines, and other community resources including Family Services, Senior Services, Veggie Village and the Interfaith Hand Me Up Shop. “Lucy has been a critical leader on the Programs and Services team for the last two years. Her knowledge of social service and her love for the community will further strengthen Interfaith’s mission,” shared Missy Herndon, President & CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands.

Lucy has worked at Interfaith since 2005 in Family Services and most recently held the position of Program Manager. Lucy has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Anthropology from The University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master’s degree in International Relations from The University of Kent, Canterbury, UK. Lucy is also a 2015 graduate of Leadership Montgomery County.
