Montgomery County Sheriff's blotter April 26 - May 1 for The Woodlands

April 26, Deputy Fleming observed a suspicious vehicle parked at 660 Sawdust Road with two individuals asleep in the front seat. Deputy Fleming requested backup after a check of the license plate showed the vehicle to be stolen out of Florida. Upon waking the driver of the vehicle, she started the vehicle and sped away. After a brief pursuit that ended on E. Hardy road, both individuals exited the vehicle and fled on foot, only to be detained a short distance away. The 25 year old female suspect was charged with Evading with a motor vehicle and Assault on a Peace Officer. The 25 year old male suspect was also charged with Evading with a motor vehicle, after switching places with the female driver. Both were transported to the Montgomery County Jail without further incident.

April 26, Deputy Plata was dispatched to a Disturbance Call at 333 Holly Creek Court. Upon arrival, Deputy Cranston was already on scene with two subjects. During the course of the investigation both the 23 year old male and the 24 year old female were both found to have outstanding warrants for their arrest. Both were taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

April 27, Deputy Bowers conducted a traffic stop on Woodlands Parkway near Falcon Wing Drive. During the traffic stop Deputy Bowers found that the driver, a 29 year old male, had two outstanding warrants through Oak Ridge Police Department. After Oak Ridge confirmed the warrant was still valid, the suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

April 29, Deputy Jackson conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 45. During the course of the traffic stop the driver, a 23 year old male, was found to have two containers with urine and a temperature strip on one. The suspect stated that he purchased the urine for a drug test at work. The suspect was taken into custody for possession of a Drug Test Falsification Device and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

May 1, Deputy Brown was dispatched to 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive in reference to a Shoplifter in Custody. The suspect, a 21 year old male, was identified by a sales associate as being a suspect in a previous theft at Macy’s. During this visit, the suspect attempted to take $260.48 worth of merchandise. The suspect was taken into custody for Theft and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
