THE WOODLANDS, Texas – On the morning of Monday, April 25th 2016, Texas Children’s Hospital discovered a tumor on, 7 yr. old Vaughn McCullum’s brain. Doctor’s responded immediately and decided to operate in an attempt to save young Vaughn’s life.

Vaughn got his start here at Legends in Soccer with former legends Soccer director Spencer Grey and then he went on to sign up for Flag Football with current legends Football director Jake Bennett.

Both Grey and Bennett say Vaughn is a very happy, sweet, and respectful little athlete, on and off the field.

One week later, after operations on Vaughn’s early tumor, Vaughn is up and recovering very well. His father James, reached out to Coach Spencer and Coach Jake to let them know that Vaughn misses his coaches and would like to come back to Legends to play soccer.

Legends staff and coaches of Vaughn put together a care package including soccer balls, Legends Soccer Jerseys and more to bring to him. Until Vaughn is fully back up and running, Legends staff and family will be right there with little Vaughn to let him know that his life matters.
