Market Street hosts Fourth of July Parade, live music

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Looking for a place to celebrate this Fourth of July? Market Street is the perfect place to spend our nation’s birthday as the shopping and entertainment destination once again hosts the popular South Montgomery County 4th of July Parade and live music in Central Park from cover band Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

41st Annual South Montgomery County 4th of July Parade: 9 a.m.

The 41st Annual South Montgomery County Fourth of July Parade takes kicks off at 9 am and features a Music of America theme with Woodlands resident Nancy Curtis performing the national anthem, marching bands, floats and appearances from local dignitaries and the 72nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team Texas Army National Guard along with the 72nd Special Troops Battalion, the 453rd Inland Cargo Transfer Company and U.S. Army Reserves. More than 8,000 guests who will line the streets and enjoy the parade, which makes its way through Market Street and concludes at 10:30 am. For additional details, visit www.4thofjuly.org

Breakfast at Tiffany’s Performance: 7 – 9:15 p.m.

Cover band Breakfast at Tiffany’s will entertain with popular tunes through the decades as well as current pop hits as they perform in Market Street’s Central Park from 7 – 9:15 pm on July 4. Families are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the concert.
