THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The Woodlands Children's Museum will be celebrating a number of important birthdays this July.

“A lot of our favorite artists were born in the same month,” Angela Colton, the museum’s executive director, said. “We wanted to do something special in their honor.”

The museum, located at 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280, will offer a special art project for each artist’s birthday:

  • Marc Chagall on Tuesday, July 5
  • Frida Kahlo on Wednesday, July 6
  • Gustave Klimt on Thursday, July 14
  • Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn on Saturday, July 16
  • Edgar Degas on Tuesday, July 19
  • Alexander Calder on Friday, July 22
  • Beatrix Potter on Thursday, July 28
  • Jean Dubuffet on Sunday, July 31

The fun lasts from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Woodlands Children’s Museum, which is open seven days a week during the summer. Daily admission is $6 per person 1 year and older. The museum is recommended for ages 7 and under.
