THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Interfaith of The Woodlands provided food and household essentials to 392 families and over 1,000 individuals during Interfaith’s On-The-Go Market Day. The event was held on Saturday, June 18, at Sam Houston Elementary School. Interfaith created the mobile food pantry to meet the increasing basic needs of our neighbors who reside on the border of Interfaith’s service area and beyond.

“Interfaith’s goal is to meet the true needs of our community. No child should go to bed hungry, “On the Go” Mobile Food Pantry helps feed families in need. We are so grateful for our incredible community partners who believe in our mission and support these efforts,” said Missy Herndon, President and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands.

Graciously underwritten by Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, Interfaith partnered with Kroger to provide 600 bags of non-perishable food items which contained meal prep items and kid-friendly snacks as well as fresh produce.

Interfaith of The Woodlands is a non-profit social service agency providing numerous programs and services to meet the needs of The Woodlands and the surrounding area.
