THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Harris-Montgomery Counties Municipal Utility District No. 386, the “District,” recently triggered Stage 2 of its Drought Contingency and High Water Demand Plan for the Harris County Portion of the District. The Woodlands Township reminds customers in this area, which includes Creekside Park and Carlton Woods at Creekside, to adhere to these mandatory guidelines.

Residents are advised to limit water usage for outdoor purposes including landscape irrigation, pressure washing, car washing and aesthetic water use to a maximum of two days per week. Odd addresses are allowed to water from 8 p.m. on Saturdays until 2 a.m. on Sundays and from 8 p.m. on Tuesdays until 2 a.m. on Wednesdays. Even addresses may water from 8 p.m. on Sundays until 2 a.m. Mondays and from 8 p.m. Wednesdays until 2 a.m. Thursdays.

The District is a customer of Harris County Municipal Utility District 387, "HC387," which provides water supply services to the Harris County portion of the District. HC387 owns and operates two water supply facilities. The facility located in the Timarron subdivision that was damaged by the recent floodwaters has been repaired ahead of the projected completion date. Both water plants are now operational.
