THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Strykers returned from two days off but were unable to get a win in front of the home crowd as they fell to Acadiana Cane Cutters 10-2.

Ivan Vera led the way for The Woodlands at the plate as he went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Jimmy Roche scored on Vera’s RBI single and had an RBI single of his own in the 9th. Tucker Cascadden scored the second run.

The Woodlands continue their four-game home stand tomorrow as they host the Cane Cutters. The Victoria Generals will be in town Thursday and Friday.
