Strykers sweep the Marshals

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Woodlands got their tenth win of the year as they beat the Texas Marhsals on the road, 7-4.

Caleb Dean was the big bat of the night for the Strykers as he hit a 3-run homer, his first of the year. Behind him in the order, Patrick King went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two stolen bases. Coll Stanley had three hits, two runs scored and an RBI.

Darren Williams came on in relief to pitch five innings and allowed only a hit and struck out seven as he picked up his first save of the year.

The Woodlands will go for three straight victories tomorrow as they travel to play the Victoria Generals. The next home game for the Strykers is Thursday July 28th as they play host to the Cane Cutters.
