Strykers lose in extras

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Strykers scored in the eighth inning to tie the game but eventually fell in extras to the Victoria Generals, 3-2.

K.K. Daniel made a big impact in his second game with the Strykers as he was 3-for-5 on the night with a double and two RBIs. He has driven in four runs in 10 at-bats. Coll Stanley and Roosevelt Henderson both had a hit and scored a run.

Starter Beau Ridgeway went five innings giving up four hits and just one run with three strikeouts.

The Woodlands will travel to Bryan to take on the Brazos Valley Bombers tomorrow at 7:05pm. The next home game is this Thursday against the Acadiana Cane Cutters.
