THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Realtor Melanie Aranguren continues to pursue her passion for real estate as an associate at the RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring office.

For the past 14 years, Aranguren supported her husband’s career and, in the process, lived in five countries and moved more than 10 times, learning first-hand the needs of a family on the move.

“During that time I helped other families relocate, assisting them in finding homes, schools and doctors – and giving them what support I could to make their transition as smooth as possible,” she said.

After studying business at the University of Miami and Saint Louis University, Aranguren followed up with real estate school in Miami and recently earned her license in Texas.

Bilingual in English and Spanish, Aranguren said her No. 1 goal is client satisfaction. “I want to understand what their requirements are and work hard to fulfill them. The people I help are not just clients -- they become friends and I take great care of them.”

Aranguren said she wanted to work at RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring because of the people, the support and the positive and welcoming work atmosphere.

Danna Furnace-Grimes, director of agent services and relocation director at the office, said she is glad that Aranguren has joined the team.

“I believe Melanie will be a true asset in our office,” Furnace-Grimes said. “In addition to offering top-notch customer service, she loves her job and it shows.”

Originally from Venezuela, Aranguren moved to the United States as a teenager. She met her husband 19 years ago and the couple has a 13-year-old daughter and 10-year-old son.

When she is not working, Aranguren enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and helping charities, especially those that benefit children’s causes.
