THE WOODLANDS, Texas — A September music festival is seeking volunteers to help facilitate the new event that benefits several area non-profits.

Organizers of Beyond the Pines Music Festival need people to help serve drinks, provide artist hospitality and shuttle artists, act as stage hands, help with roaming security, watch fence lines and much more.

“Without volunteers, this event will not be as successful as what it can be,” Trey Diller, organizer of Beyond the Pines, said. “There are many moving parts involved in putting this festival together and not enough of us. This event has already exhausted many funds, so having individuals who want to volunteer their time and not want pay is a huge key to having a successful event.”

Diller said that volunteers can expect to handle several needed tasks and work with other individuals who want to give back to the community. Volunteers will be given a free festival t-shirt and one additional ticket for the volunteer to give to a family member or friend at no cost. There will be two shifts, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Volunteers are welcome to show up before their shift and to stay after their shift has ended. Organizers are seeking roughly 200 volunteers.

Anyone is welcome to volunteer at the event. To get involved with Beyond the Pines Music Festival, e-mail nprice@woodlandschildrensmuseum.com or visit btpfest.com and fill out the volunteer forms. Tickets can be purchased at btpfest.com. Use the code “UNDERDOG” to get discounted tickets.
