Indian Springs Village Assoc. announces 12th annual Taste of the Village Oct 15

The Woodlands, Texas - The Indian Springs Village Association (ISVA) is pleased to announce the 12th Annual Taste of the Village to be held on October 15, 2016 from Noon to 3:00pm at the Indian Springs Shopping Center, located at the southwest corner of Kuykendahl Road and The Woodlands Parkway. The event is co-sponsored by ISVA, HEB, and Regency Development Company in cooperation with participating Indian Springs business establishments and is free to attend.

The Taste of the Village is one of the most anticipated community events and was initiated twelve years ago by ISVA as an outreach effort to bring local residents and businesses together for a fun and family-friendly event. The event draws more than 4,000 people each year and supports the ISVA Community Service Scholarship fund.

“It is a great place to taste local foods, learn about local businesses and the community, hear great music, mingle with your neighbors and much more” said ISVA President and event chair Michael J. Arendes. “The success of last year’s event enabled ISVA to award six scholarships to graduating seniors in Indian Springs and name a scholarship in honor of Lloyd Matthews at the Montgomery County Women’s Center,” added Arendes.

In addition to sampling tasty treats from a variety of food vendors and visiting 40 booths of local businesses and community organizations, families are sure to be entertained. Entertainment includes a live band, inflatables, face painting, balloon artistry, and many walking entertainers for the kids. There will be also be a raffle for an Amazon Echo, two $250 gift certificates from HEB, two “foursome” rounds of golf donated by Club Corp and a variety of other prizes.
