CONROE, Texas – Are you a community organization looking for volunteers? Lone Star College-Montgomery is showcasing its dedicated students who want to get more involved in the community. Promote your event or cause at LSC-Montgomery’s Volunteer Fair on Wednesday, Sept. 14 and Thursday, Sept. 15 from 11am-1pm in the building A Commons area.

“The Volunteer Fair allows students to get a sense of the many options that exist to serve in our community during a one-stop-shop event,” said Tabitha Yargo office of student life’s community service coordinator at LSC-Montgomery. “College students are a large and growing source of volunteers and the students here at LSC-Montgomery are participating in a wide range of community activities. They are teaching and mentoring children, raising funds for worthy causes and helping neighbors recover from natural disasters. This Volunteer Fair is a wonderful opportunity to broaden their horizons.”

The Volunteer Fair is a resource to help students learn about community organizations and volunteer opportunities. For more information, call 936.271.6124
