CISD students place in Minecraft Water Challenge

CONROE, Texas - Five Conroe ISD students placed in the 2016 Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District’s Minecraft Water Challenge. The challenge focused on three main objectives: build something in Minecraft that shows viewers the local water source where~your water comes from; depict how water is delivered; and depict where water is being delivered. All objectives must have been completed in Minecraft, compiled into a video, and uploaded to YouTube for judging.

Winners were announced at a celebration held at the Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District on Sunday, August 28. Conroe ISD students recognized are listed below along with a link to each student’s video submission. Winners in each category received $500 for first place, $250 for second place, and $100 for third place.
