Texas Rush opens recreational soccer program season

THE WOODLANDS, Texas — The Recreational Soccer Program sponsored by Wings ‘n More started in very positive fashion with 1,300 players in action at Bear Branch Soccer Complex, The Woodlands and The Fellowship of Montgomery.

Players aged from three to 18 were on site for a full day of soccer activities which included games, face painting, music, balloons, contests and competitions on the club’s state-of-the-art synthetic playing surface. Houston’s number one recreational soccer program in The Woodlands and The Fellowship of Montgomery welcomed 162 teams, 150 volunteer coaching staff, 25 referees and 5,000 people.

“I would like to give a huge thank you to all the volunteer coaches whose dedication make our program the best in the city," said Director of Coaching Michael Quinn. "It was great to see so many kids enjoying the game at our top facility.”
