First Lone Star College Presidential debate watch party tonight

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Join students, faculty, staff and community members at Lone Star College-Montgomery to learn about the democratic process while watching the primetime presidential debates.

LSC-Montgomery is hosting two Debate Watch Parties on Monday, Sept. 26 and Wednesday, Oct. 19.

“These parties will be a fun space to gather, watch and discuss the debates and important issues facing our country,” said Michele Richey, LSC-Montgomery sociology professor and campus civic engagement coordinator. “LSC-Montgomery prides itself on community discussion and involvement. There is no better time to get together and share ideas than the November general election season. We hope these watch parties will encourage attendees to get involved in the political process.”

There will be trivia, prizes and snacks, and computers will be available for attendees to register to vote.
